From the smallest lineside details to complete railway buildings, rolling stock and ingenious modelling tools, 3D printing has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for the Glynoch & Rathmor Railway. Combining modern technology with traditional railway modelling, we can design, experiment and create unique items that might otherwise be difficult, expensive or even impossible to obtain. Whether it's a bespoke scenic accessory, a practical tool to make modelling easier, or an entirely new creation inspired by the Caerwyn Isles, there's always something taking shape on the printer! Here we share our designs, experiments, successes and occasional mishaps, along with useful tips and techniques discovered along the way. Many of our creations are also made available to fellow modellers through GR Models, allowing others to bring a little G&R ingenuity to their own miniature worlds.
