An early milestone for the NGG16 Garratt project as the unfinished locomotive takes its first run around the layout. At this stage the model is still very much a work in progress, but the test provides the first opportunity to see the articulated Garratt negotiating the curves and gradients, as well as trying out its sound. There's plenty more work to come before the locomotive is finished and ready to enter service on the Glynoch & Rathmor Railway.
