14. Bryn Lar History
One of the earliest recorded settlements on the islands. Site of the first rails to be laid and now home to the railways main locomotive works.
15. Llyngor History
A small fishing village, grew hugely after the opening of the Llyngor Bridge into a bustling railway junction and trade hub.

An estuary town famed for its oyster beds, healing waters and home of the Rathmor Brewery
17. Gwynhaven History
A historic fishing village with strong Celtic traditions. HMP Rathmor can be seen up on the moors above the town.
18. Porthelan History
Sitting at the heart of Rathmor’s fertile southern farmlands, it is also the gateway to the molasses mines of the central highlands.

A remote southern town known for sheep herding and lobster fishing…. and Nuclear Power!
20. Falachfaen History
A slate-quarry town clinging to the southern slopes of Rathmor. Surrounding hills now used as a Ministry of Defence training camp.
21. Talporth History
The original ‘Capital of Rathmor’. A large natural harbour and navigable river access to the islands interior meant Talporth was a very important place to control.
22. Yeyn Keveren History
Long associated with mining and industry, the name also carries connotations of power and endurance in a harsh highland setting.
23. Feòrag History
An important junction in the central highlands of Rathmor. Home to the Caileich Falls and the famous Glen Feorag Viaduct
24. Gorofan Falls History
Up in the central highlands is the industrial heart of the G&R. A hardy bunch where winter seems to last for a good 10 months of the year. Tourist gateway to the mighty Cernawen mountain.
