A small but busy fishing town on the South West corner of Glynoch. A regular ferry service connects Aberfael to Talporth on the island of Rathmor

Grew wealthy as an Atlantic whaling station, but turned inland after finding large mineral deposits. Now the heart of Glynochs hydro electric network.
7. Port Gwyn History
Once a remote fishing hamlet cut off by salt marshes, has become a thriving port town shaped by reclamation, railways, and the tenacity of its people.
8. Caerporth History
Caerporth occupies a crescent-shaped bay that has served as a natural resting place for the fisherman of Llanchala Bay and gateway to Sorcha’s fertile heartlands.
9. Rhosport History
Surrounded by pastures, Rhosport is famed for its strong cheeses. Folklore speaks of “The Milkmaid of the Mists,” who blesses herds at dawn.
10. Glenmara History
Nestled at the end of a wide fertile valley, part of the ‘Golden Triangle,’ its mills, bakeries, and distilleries have long made it a town of abundance
11. Porth Oir History
The ‘Golden Harbour’ and bread basket of the islands. A land of barley fields and mills
12. Dun Ear History
The Eastern Fort town, guarding the sea-approach through the Rathmor Channel. A haven for poets and painters.
